Goals

Problem statement:

In the village of Gurjaani we have a lot of stadiums, but only one has basketball games where street basketball and street football can be played. Volleyball net is no longer there. The problem is that the basketball rings and other accessories are also damaged.

How will your initiative achieve/contribute to this change?

Each of our team members is ready to work hard to achieve a change. The works done will motivate is youth and support sport development in the community, especially for girls’ basketball.

What will happen to your initiative and to the purchases?

Purchased items will remain on the stadium because it cannot be removed and cannot be reached while the balls and volleyball net will be saved by one of the team members who lives close to the stadium. Also the stadium will be better maintained and and cleaned daily.

How will initiative provide equal opportunity for men and women?

Each week, we will have competitions for both women's and men’s basketball and volleyball. Tournament will be organized for people with disabilities as well as senior athletes.
