Goals

Problem statement:

In Talaveri public school #1 there is no space where pupils will be able to get additional classes and in this way raise their level of knowledge of state language. (Due to the small number of classrooms there is not even the state language room). Classrooms aren’t intended for extra-curricular activities.
In the school library there are no books relevant to the age and language level of the pupils.
1. We would like to repair the classroom on the first floor of the school building.
2. To arrange it with the required furniture and books corner.
3. Readers’ club will be arranged in this room.
We will use it for additional weekly classes in the state language.

How will your initiative achieve/contribute to this change?

Besides, any pupil will be allowed to use the room for carrying out educational or entertaining initiatives. 4. We will hold evenings of loud reading. 5. We will arrange meetings with a modern Georgian writer. 6. We will hold screenings of the movies filmed according to literature texts.

What will happen to your initiative and to the purchases?

The items will be under the supervision of the teacher of Georgian as a second language of Talaveri public school #1.

How will initiative provide equal opportunity for men and women?

The project will be useful for beneficiaries regardless of their gender.
