Ketevan Khachidze

Director


Ketevan Khachidze is Director of Orbeliani Georgia and is working to re-imagine international development, placing decision-rights directly in the hands of volunteers and community. She brings with herself a good knowledge and understanding of local political and social context of Georgia –as her experience combines working in the non-profit sector with journalism.

Before joining Orbeliani, Ketevan worked with a leading humanitarian NGO Care International in the Caucasus focusing on program development and strategic communication. Prior to that she worked for five years as Editor-in-Chief at the largest English Language newspaper The Georgian Times.

Ketevan received a prestigious Chevening Scholarship to study at the Institute for Development Studies, the University of Sussex, the UK, and has completed MA in Governance and Development with distinction. She also has earned another Master’s degree in Social Science from the Center of Social Sciences, Tbilisi State University.






Natia Rekhviashvili

Operations Coordinator


Natia Rekhviashvili is the Chief Accountant and Financial Manager of Orbeliani Georgia. She is responsible for ensuring that Orbeliani meets its commitment to transparency by through clearly documenting our financial transactions and overseeing our accounts.

Natia received her Masters in Business Administration (Financial Auditing) from Georgian Technical University, her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Humanities from Tbilisi State University and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants program from Tbilisi Professional Accountants Institute. With her degree she has worked as an accountant for several large corporations in Georgia.








Nino Giorgadze

Program Coordinator 


Nino Giogradze is the program coordinator of Promoting Volunteerism for Civic Engagement in Georgia. She is responsible for volunteer engagement and coordination and many essential operations for organisaiton growth.Nino has extensive experience in NGOs administration, having worked for years as a trainer and coordinator for several other charitable organisations including World Vision, the Foundation Centre for Citizneship Education of Poland and the SOS Children’s Village amongst others. Nino is a PhD student in Social Work at Ilia Chavchavadze State University in Social work.






Mariam Mirotadze 

Program officer



 


Mariam Mirotadze works as a program coordinator for I Belong program. An activist from Lagodekhi, she applied to Orbeliani to change the life of her community through open air film screenings. Her initiative was successful and still continues, even after she left to study at Tbilisi State University. Since then Mariam has initiated several other civic projects, focusing on women's rights and girls' empowerment. She is passionate about photography and seeks to bring about change through art.
