On the 1st of December we had a presentation of the publication "Life Between Two Edges" by Babilina Khositashvili. The grandchildren of the author also participated in the event.

სამუშაო ჯგუფის წევრები ეწვივნენ ნელი ხოსიტაშვილს, ბაბილინა ხოსიტაშვილის ძმის, იროდიონ ევდოშვილის შვილიშვილს, რომელიც ცხოვრობდა ბაბილინასთან ერთად მას შემდეგ, რაც მწერალი ასაკში შევიდა და მხედველობა დაკარგა. ნელი ხოსიტაშვილი მოგვიყვა მწერლის შესახებ უცნობ ფაქტებს და გადმოგვცა ავტორის ბოლოდროინდელი ფოტოები.
This week the project team members visited Neli Khositashvili, a grandchild of Babilina Khositashvili’s brother Irodion Evdoshvili. She used to live with Babilina after the author grew old and lost her sight. Neli used to accompany her when she was visiting friends, including writers and poets. Neli Khositashvili told some unknown facts about the author and gave the latest photos of Babilina.
Last week the members of the project team visited the house/museum where Babilina Khositashvilis’s family lived. We collected some additional material, fotos and information about her.

Currently the text is in process of editing (stylistically). We are also working on the preface of the publication and choosing the quote to use for the bookmarks. The details for the title pages are also in the process of adjusting. After that, we will work on the design. The draft version of the publication is ready. The Facebook page has been launched, to re-introduce Babilina (Barbare) Khositashvili as a writer, translator and a women's rights activist. (The page is yet under the modification).

We continue editing of the digitized archival material, already chose some poetic works for the publication and now are making decision which portrait of the author shall we use.

The handwritten articles, diaries and a play, is already digitized. Now we begin editing and searching for additional material, including pictures and poems.
ხელნაწერი სტატიების, დღიურებისა და პიესის გაციფრულება დასრულებულია. ახლა ვიწყებთ რედაქტირებას და დამატებითი მასალის, მათ შორის ფოტოებისა და ლექსების, მოძიებას.
The museum of literature is closed during August. So the process of digitization will be continued from September. Until then we will do additional research in the public library to identify which works of the chosen female public figure is already published.

On Tuesday we got permission from the literature museum to begin a research. We saw the archives catalog as well and chose some letters, diaries, poetry and a play of the woman we are now studying. On Wednesday we talked to another gender researcher, who has already made an electronic version of the biography of this woman, and suggested collaboration.

We have had the first consultation yesterday and according to this advice identified two female public figures from the 19th century. Nest step is to visit the museum of literature and look the archives.
