Goals

Problem statement:

Our initiative group consists of members of Young Farmers Center (YFC), pupils of Koda public school. Within the scope of Young Farmers Center, since we hold activities not only in the field of agriculture but also advocacy, environment protection and positive changes, we are interested in the rubbish bins in our village, because rubbish bins, waste disposal and pollution in general is acute everywhere, for us it is especially painful in our village and we want to hold a campaign in terms of raising awareness and pollution/littering. More precisely, we want to leave certain messages on rubbish bins and call people to throw waste into rubbish bins.

Proposed Solution:

Painted color waste bins, with inscriptions “protect the environment” and similar contents, we think it will be interesting and attractive, to put alphabet letters, cartoon characters, multiplication tables, mathematical tasks on some waste bins, in order to draw more attention to it. The waste bins will be painted according to themes, for example superheroes near kindergartens, mathematical tasks and alphabet near schools, near a police building “obey the law”, “pollution is fined”, and generally colorful inscriptions in the village We the children will pay attention and present our work to the society in order to make our campaign work and give the correct message to the people. The volunteer from our school Karlo Megulashvili will help us in the project implementation who has experience in doing such a project

Sustainability:

Waste bins are needed universally, but it often happens that they fail to reach their aim and the environment is still polluted, with our campaign we will try to improve the attitude of the society towards the pollution and change the reality positively.

The project equally concerns the representatives of both sexes and the participating children are girls and boys.
